Lancel celebrates love with "Daligramme"

It all starts to love. And also to Lancel, all started with a love story. The love of Dalí, Gala, his muse, his great love. It was the summer of 1929 when they met during a visit to Cadaquès again and it was love at first sight. She was the woman that he "had dreamed and had already painted even before you know it". A story as there are few. A passionate love, insane, surreal art, letters and crazy stuff. Not left anymore, he offered to his beloved a real castle where the true love letters sent. But everything would have been too obvious and easy for the great Salvador Dali.

So, creates for him and his muse a true alphabet. A secret alphabet based on their initials. G for Gradiva-Gala Dalí, D and S to Salvador, stylized characters in eight and encrypted: Daligramas.

Already in the first ani ' 70 la Maison Lancel played the Daligrammi creating a collectible called Dalí, with a strap made from bicycle chain, symbol of sincere devotion of two energies that are in the same direction.

Today, with that Lancel légèreté all French, a bold, sassy and passionate. Is more than a simple Monogram created by Dalí, the Daligramma is a true Declaration of love.
